Dhaka (UNB) – Price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked rise yesterday (Saturday) as the gainers strongly dominated the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose 11.88 points or 1.86 percent to close at 650.24 points from Thursday’s 638.36 points.

Of the 161 listed securities traded yesterday, 136 gained, 17 advanced and eight remained unchanged.

Some 4,730,656 shares and debentures valued at 19.86 crore were transacted as against 3,197,449 shares worth Tk 16.41 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.71 billion from Tk 60.58 billion on Wednesday.
