Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Saturday) marking a rise in its benchmark index. The DSE All Share Price Index gained 4.77 points or 0.72 per cent to close at 663.33 points from Thursday’s 658.56 points. Of the 178 listed securities traded yesterday, 111 advanced, 47 declined and 20 remained unchanged. Some 4,573,364 shares and debentures worth Tk 19.53 changed hands as against 4,122,272 shares and debentures worth Tk 18.28 crore on the previous trading day. Bionic Food (928,500), Rangpur Foundry (667,500), Quasem Drycell (485,900), Miracle Industry (306,500), AIMS 1st Mutual Fund (265,000), Beximco Pharma (299,200) and Fu Wang Food (219,000) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 62.95 billion from Tk 62.50 billion on Thursday. |
