Dhaka (UNB) - Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Thursday) as the losers strongly dominated the gainers. The DSE All Share Price Index lost 4.36 points or 0.65 percent to close at 662.19 points from Wednesday's 666.55 points. Of the 167 listed securities traded yesterday, only 44 gained, 106 declined and 17 remained unchanged. Some 5,996,436 shares and debentures worth Tk 25.96 crore changed hands as against 6,542,555 shares valued at Tk 28.44 crore on the previous day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 62.85 billion from Tk 63.26 billion on Wednesday. |
