Dhaka (UNB) - Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Monday), shedding 5.92 points in its benchmark index. All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse lost 5.92 points or 0.91 percent to close at 639.26 points from Sunday's 645.18 points. Of the 172 listed securities traded yesterday, 115 declined, 46 gained and 11 remained unchanged. Some 8,367,293 shares and debentures valued at TK 30.45 crore were transacted as against 7,910,556 shares worth Tk 34.31 crore on the previous day. AIMS First Mutual (3,517,500), Beximco Pharma (1,303,950), Chic Tex (402,000) and Miracle Industry (311,000) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.67 billion from Tk 61.24 billion on Saturday. |
