Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Tuesday) with the gainers heavily outnumbering the losers. The All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse rose by 11.91 points or 2.08 percent to close at 582.24 from Monday’s 570.33 points.
Of the 165 listed securities traded today, 104 advanced, 40 declined and 21 remained unchanged. Some 5,108,079 shares and debentures valued at Tk 21.51 crore changed hands yesterday as against 2,902,626 shares worth Tk 13.85 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 55.12 billion as against Tk 54 billion on Monday.
