Chittagong, June 4 (UNB) – The price index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight rise today (Sunday) although the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index gained 1.90 points or 0.17 percent to close at 1111.68 points from Saturday’s 1109.78 points.

Of the 65 listed securities traded today, 23 gained, 31 declined and 11 remained unchanged.

Some 977,070 shares and debentures valued at Tk 4.20 crore changed hands as against 906,029 shares worth Tk 4.87 crore on the previous trading day.

Dynamic Textile Industries (239,080), Aims First Guaranteed (227,500), Rangpur Foundry (94,000) and Sino Bangla (81,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 42.73 billion as against Tk 42.67 billion on Saturday.
