Chittagong Stock Exchange rise slightly |

Chittagong (UNB) – Although the losers dominated the gainers, the price index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight rise yesterday (Sunday).
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse rose by 1.81 points or 0.16 percent to close at 1142.71 points from Saturday’s 1140.9 points.
Of the 77 listed securities traded today, 36 gained, 37 declined and four remained unchanged.
Some 702,810 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.87 crore changed hands as against 801,805 shares worth Tk 4.21 crore on the previous day. Meghna Shrimp Culture (196,820), Aims First Guaranteed Mutual Funds (107,500), Rangpur Foundry (60,000) and Quasem Dry-cells Ltd (54,700) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalization stood at Tk 43.8 billion as against Tk 43.74 billion on Saturday.
