Chittagong (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight rise yesterday although the number of gainers and losers was same.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse rose by 0.02 points or 0.002 percent to close at 1137.13 points from Tuesday’s 1137.11 points.
Of the 67 listed securities traded yesterday, 29 gained, 27 declined and 11 remained unchanged.
Some 1,361,859 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.56 crore changed hands as against 467,360 shares worth Tk 5.60 crore on the previous day.
Aims First Guaranteed (857,500), Rangpur Foundry (228,000), Meghna Cement (91,200), National Bank (34140), BD Welding (34000) and Dynamic Textiles (31940) were among the volume leaders.
Market capitalisation remained unchanged at Tk 43.61 billion. |
