Dhaka (UNB) – Price index at Dhaka Stock Exchange continued to show an upward spiral posting a gain of 2.62 points in its benchmark yesterday.
All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 2.62 points or 0.48 percent to close at 547.92 points from Tuesday’s 545.30 points.
Of the 179 listed securities traded today, 85 advanced, 76 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
Some 4,083,300 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.39 crore changed hands as against 1,875,316 shares worth Tk 12.53 crore on the previous trading day.
AIMs First Mutual Fund (2,862,500), Rangpur Foundry (279,500), Sino Bangla (87,000), NBL (82,520) and Dynamic Textile (66,540) were among the day’s volume leaders.
Market capitalisation stood at Tk 51.87 billion from Tk 51.63 billion Tuesday.
