Chittagong, June 11 (UNB)– Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange closed higher today (Sunday) as the gainers dominated over the losers. All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse rose by 6.44 points or 0.57 percent to close at 1135.08 points from Saturday’s 1128.64 points. Of the 74 listed securities traded today, 44 gained, 22 declined and eight remained unchanged. Some 454,780 shares and debentures worth Tk 5.41 crore were transacted today against 658,980 shares valued at Tk 4.39 crore on the previous day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 43.53 billion today as against Tk 43.31 billion on Saturday. |
