Chittagong, May 28 (UNB)- The price index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight fall today (Sunday) as the losers dominated the gainers.

All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse dropped by 1.95 points or 0.17 percent to close at 1105.50 points from Saturday’s 1107.45 points.

Of the 63 listed securities traded today, 14 gained, 39 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 2,170,912 shares and debentures worth Tk 3.16 crore changed hands as against 3,405,240 shares valued Tk 5.08 crore on the previous trading day.

Aims First Guaranteed (1,530,000), Dynamic Textiles (187,040), Sino Bangla (174,000) and Padma Printers (97,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 42.13 billion as against Tk 42.19 billion on Saturday.
