Apr 24 (UNB) – The main index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange continued to
show downtrend for the second day today (Monday) as the losers dominated
the gainers. All
Share price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 0.66 points or 0.12
percent to close at 519.35 points from Sunday’s 520.01 points. Of
the 161 listed securities traded today, 89 declined, 55 advanced and 17
remained unchanged. Some
1,059,355 shares and debenture valued at Tk 7.24 crore changed hands today
as against 1,397,260 shares worth Tk 6.86 crore on the previous trading
day. Market capitalization stood at Tk 48.72 billion from Tk 48.78 billion on Sunday. |
