Chittagong-- (UNB) – The price indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed mixed yesterday (Saturday).


The CSE All Share Price Index gained 1.20 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 1370.55 points from Tuesday’s 1369.35 points.


However, the CSE Selective Index shed 0.21 points or 0.015 percent to close at 1387.71 points from Tuesday’s 1387.92 points.


Trading was not held on Wednesday and Thursday for hartal and Friday for weekly holiday.


Of the 52 listed scripts traded yesterday, 21 declined, 21 gained and 10 remain unchanged.


Some 871,860 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.05 crore were transacted as against 452,737 shares worth Tk 1.50 crore on Tuesday.


Quasem Drycells (452,500), Fu Wang Foods (149,000), Aims First Guaranteed MF (82,500), and National Credit (74,150) were among the volume leaders.


Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.26 billion from Tk 56.21 billion on Tuesday.
