Dhaka-- (UNB) – The two indexes of Dhaka Stock Exchange declined further yesterday (Wednesday) as the losers dominated the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed 0.37 percent or 2.40 points to close at 643.94 points from Tuesday’s 646.34 points.

The DSE-20 index dropped by 9.21 points or 0.71 percent to close at 1278.79 points from 1288.00 points on Tuesday.

Of the 168 listed securities traded yesterday, 59 advanced, 87 declined and 22 remain unchanged.

Some 1,835,774 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.07 crore were transacted as against 2,623,458 shares worth Tk 12.50 crore on Tuesday.

Miracleind (273,500), Sinobangla (216,500) and Aims First Guaranteed (205,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood Tk 61.38 billion from Tuesday’s Tk 61.61 billion.
