Chittagong-- (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a fall yesterday (Tuesday) as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 4.45 points or 0.31 percent to close at 1417.57 points from Sunday’s 1422.02 points.

Of the listed, 58 securities traded yesterday, 16 gained, 32 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 319,265 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.88 crore were transacted as against 577,315 shares worth Tk Tk 1.62 on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.04 billion from Tk 58.21 billion on Sunday.
