All shares declined while blue chips gained at Dhaka Stock Exchange |

Dhaka-- (UNB) – The price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked fall yesterday (Tuesday) with the losers outnumbering the gainers. The DSE all share price shed by 0.28 percent or 1.81 points to close at 646.34 points from Saturday’s 648.15 points. However, the DSE-20 index increased by 1.61 points or 0.12 percent to close at 1288.002 points from 1286.39 points on Saturday. Of the 145 listed securities traded yesterday, 57 advanced, 68 declined and 20 remain unchanged. Some 2,623,458 shares and debentures valued at Tk 12.5 crore were transacted yesterday as against 2,293,537 shares worth Tk 16.93 on Saturday. Sinobangla (630,000), Miracle Industries (512,000), Rangpur Foundry (209,000) and Beximco Pharma (79,950) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood Tk 61.61 billion from Saturday’s Tk 61.78 billion. |
