Khulna--(UNB) – The debt-ridden Khulna Newsprint Mill (KNM) remained closed for the last nine days due to acute crisis of raw materials and running capital.

A KNM official said raw materials have already been procured and production in the mill would resume in a few days.

The newspaper industry is likely to be hit by newsprint crisis if the mill fails to resume its production soon.
