Dhaka--(UNB) – Bangladesh will receive 170.3 million US dollars soft loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for implementation of three development projects.

The projects are-- Chittagong Hill Tracts Rural Development Project, Northwest Crop Diversification Project and Road Maintenance and Improvement Project.

ADB will provide 30 million-dollar loan for the CHT development project, 46.3 million for the crop diversification project and 94 million for the road maintenance project.

ADB president Tadao Chino and Bangladesh Ambassador to the Philippines Mohammad Farooq signed the loan and project agreements in Manila on Monday, said a press release yesterday.
