Dhaka-- (UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a slight rise yesterday as the gainers dominated the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 1.27 points or 0.20 percent to close at 630.59 points from Sunday’s 629.32 points.

Of the 137 listed securities traded yesterday, 69 gained, 48 declined and 20 remained unchanged.

Some 618,811 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.39 crore were transacted as against 684,299 shares worth of Tk 6.77 crore on the previous day.

AIMS First Guaranteed (52,500), Niloy Cement (44,100) Prime Bank (43,050), Sino Bangla (43,000) Beximco Pharma (36,400), ACI (34,100) and Bionic Food (33,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.11 billion from Tk 59.98 billion on Sunday.
