Dhaka-- (UNB) – World Bank’s Small Grants Programme (SGP) Steering Committee has approved some funds for distribution in Bangladesh as small grants for the year 2001.

According to a WB press release, the grants must be used for promoting dialogue and dissemination of information on international development.

It may also be used for enhancing partnership with key players in the development area such as NGOs and civil society organisations, multilateral development banks, UN agencies, foundations, bilateral donors, professional associations, research institutions and private sector corporation.
