Dhaka-- (UNB)– Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday marking a fall in its benchmark index. The DSE All Share Price Index declined 2.33 points or 0.36 percent to close at 627.53 points from Wednesday’s 629.80 points. Of the 135 listed securities traded yesterday, 21 gained, 97 declined and 17 remained unchanged. Some 884,952 shares and debentures valued at Tk 9.83 crore were transacted yesterday as against 1,049,252 shares worth of Tk 9.47 crore on the previous day. Beximco Pharma (130,850), Dhaka Bank (68,250), NCC Bank (55,600), Niloy Cement (51,700) and Meghna Vegetables (48,900) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.81 billion from Tk 60.03 billion on Wednesday. |
