Dhaka-- (UNB) – Hundreds of workers Sem Garments Ltd began a sit in strike inside the factory in the capital yesterday (Tuesday) demanding payment of their arrears.

Bangladesh OSK Garments Workers Federation president Nazrul Islam Sabuj and general secretary Emran M Roman in a statement yesterday demanded immediate payment of the salaries, which were not regular for last three months, a press release said.

They also protested the “threat and intimidation” on the striking workers by the terrorists of the owners.
