Dhaka-- (UNB) – Army engineers have made truck lorries at the Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory that has resumed production under military management. The government handed over the state-owned industry to Bangladesh Army recently ending long layoff at the country’s lone such factory. Army men have assembled the batch of truck lorries dubbed “Arunima Bolian” at the factory since they took over the management of the heavy industry. Chief of Army Staff Lt General Mustafizur Rahman will inaugurate the first fleet of the vehicles in the factory premises in Gazipur today (Tuesday). Sources said the first batch of Arunima Bolian would take part in the Victory rally on Saturday marking the victory of the country’s liberation war. |
