Dhaka-- (UNB) - The 118th auction of the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year treasury bills were held here yesterday (Sunday).

Taka 781 crore, Tk 9 crore, Tk 12 crore and Tk 10 crore were offered respectively for the 28-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-years bills.

However, a total of Tk 652 crore including Tk 631 crore, Tk 9 crore and Tk 12 crore for 28-day, 364-day and 2-year bills were accepted respectively.

No bids were offered for the 91-day and 182-day bills while the offer for 5-year bills was not accepted.

Due to maturity of the bills, an amount of Tk 802.50 crore will retire this week. So the net amount of the issuing bills will stand at Tk 150.50 crore, said a BB press release.
