Dhaka-- (UNB) - Bangladesh is to receive 30,000 metric tons of wheat and Tk 148.0 crore from the European Commission as grant under Food Aid and Food Security Programme.

Official letters were exchanged here yesterday (Tuesday) between EC and Bangladesh government in this regard, said an official announcement.

ERD secretary Dr Mashiur Rahman and EC Ambassador and head of EC delegation in Dhaka Antonio de Souza Menezes exchanged the letters on behalf of their respective sides.
