Dhaka-- (UNB) – A six-member delegation of the parliamentary standing committee on Commerce Ministry leaves here today (Wednesday) for Calcutta to have firsthand experience of Indian tea industry and management.


The delegation comprising parliament members Raziuddin Ahmed Razu, Mohibur Rahman Manik and Akhter Hamid Siddiqui and three officials will visit different tea gardens and related industries in India.


They will also meet with the Chairman and other officials of the Indian Tea Board during the visit, said a Parliament Secretariat press release yesterday (Tuesday).
