Dhaka-- (UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a fall for the third straight day yesterday with the losers outnumbering the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed 2.82 points or 0.45 percent to close at 617.69 points from Monday’s 620.51 points.

Of the 131 listed securities traded yesterday, 66 declined, 39 gained and 26 remained unchanged.

Some 1,271,599 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.96 crore changed hands yesterday as against 1,113,005 shares worth Tk 9.31 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.88 billion from Tk 59.14 billion on Monday.
