Chittagong--(UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked fall yesterday (Saturday) as the losers outnumbering the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 0.54 points or 0.03 percent to close at 1379.69 points from Thursday’s 1379.15 points.

Of the 45 listed securities traded yesterday, 15 gained, 19 declined and 11 remained unchanged.

Some 287,320 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.72 crore were transacted yesterday as against 292,160 shares valued at Tk 3.13 crore on the previous trading day.

Niloy Cement Industry (100,450), Quasem Textiles (37,100), Chic Tex (28,000) and Paragon Leather (24,850) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 54.49 billions from Tk 54.48 billion on Thursday.
