Dhaka-- (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Wednesday) posting a slight gain in its benchmark.

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 0.23 points or 0.03 percent to close at 624.17 points from Tuesday’s 623.94 points.

Of the 135 listed securities traded yesterday, 75 declined, 42 advanced and 18 remained unchanged.

Some 2,266,127 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.68 crore were transacted as against 2,416,686 shares worth Tk 9.44 crore on the previous trading day.

Raspit (758,000), AIMS First Mutual Fund (587,500), Miracle Ind (114,500) and Niloycem (88,600) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.49 billion from Tk 59.47 billion on Tuesday.
