Dhaka-- (UNB)- British investors, including non-resident Bangladeshis, expressed their readiness to undertake ventures in Bangladesh as they are convinced of favourable investment climate here.

The gesture was made at a meeting of potential British and NRB investors in Birmingham where Commerce Minister Abdul Jalil detailed Bangladesh’s investment prospects, policies and incentives.

Bangladesh has offered adequate and attractive incentives for foreign investors and opened almost all the sectors for private investment, resulting in an increase in investment inflow.

Foreign investors are allowed to go for 100 per cent equity or joint ventures with all investments protected by law, the minister told the meet, assuring all possible cooperation from the government.
