Board of Investment delegates off to Malaysia |

Dhaka--(UNB) – A 7-member delegation led by M Mokammel Haque, executive chairman of Board of Investment (BOI) left here Monday night for Kuala Lumpur to find out ways of increasing cooperation in the field of investment and infrastructure development. The delegation will meet the officials of Malaysian Prime Minister’s office to get acquainted with the programmes and functions of their Economic Planning Unit, said a press release yesterday (Tuesday). They will have formal meetings with the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), PETRONUS, CYBERJAYA and PORTKLANG authority aiming at increased cooperation in the field of oil and gas exploration, information technology and port management. Members of the delegation are-- Privatization Commission member NG Pal, DG of Prime Minister’s Office Khondaker Mizanur Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Planning Commission SA Munim, Joint Chief of the ERD AKM Khairul Alam, DG of IMED Subash Chandra Ghosh and Director, Board of Investment Mohammad Abdul Mazid. |
