Dhaka-- (UNB) - The downward spiral at Dhaka Stock Exchange continued for the third straight day yesterday, the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed 0.12 points or 0.01 percent to close at 636.32 points from 636.44 points on Sunday.

Of the 151 listed securities traded today, 77 declined, 48 advanced and 26 remained unchanged.

Some 3,172,220 shares and debentures valued at Tk 11.16 crore were transacted against 2,319,897 shares worth Tk 12.39 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Mutual Fund (1,062,500), Chic Tex (919,000), Miracle Industry (160,000), Beximco Pharma (134,150) and Sino Bangla (119,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.65 billion from Sunday's Tk 60.74 billion.
