Chittagong--(UNB)– The Price Index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked fall yesterday (Sunday) as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 7.91 points or 0.56 percent to close at 1407.45 points from 1415.35 points on Saturday.

Of the 57 listed securities traded yesterday, only eight gained, 47 declined and two remained unchanged.

Some 560,575 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.29 crore changed hands as against 450,375 shares worth Tk 3.84 crore on the previous trading day.

Aims First Guaranteed (70,000), Beximco Pharma (59,000), Legacy Footwear (57,000), Paragon Leather (55,000) and Sino Bangla (54,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.31 billion from Tk 53.59 billion on Saturday.
