Dhaka--(UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday (Sunday) as the losers strongly dominated the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index dropped by 3.55 points or 0.55 percent to close at 636.44 points from 639.99 points on Saturday.

Of the 147 listed securities traded yesterday, 98 declined, 24 advanced and 25 remained unchanged.

Some 2,319,897 shares and debentures valued at TK 12.39 crore were transacted yesterday against 2,250,397 shares worth TK 12.68 crore.

AIMS First Mutual Fund (605,000), Miracle Industry (224,500), Beximco Pharma (210,200), Sino Bangla (142,500) and Raspit (131,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.40 billion as against Tk 60.74 billion on Saturday.
