Chittagong--(UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday (Saturday) marking a 8.27 points fall in its benchmark index.

The CSE All Share Price Index dropped by 0.58 percent to close at 1415.35 points from Thursday’s 1423.62 points.

Of the 62 listed securities traded yesterday, 11 gained, 46 declined and five remained unchanged.

Some 450,375 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.84 crore changed hands as against 954,687 shares worth Tk 4.05 crore on the previous trading day.

Paragon Leather (66,550), National Bank (45,820), Sino Bangla (29,000) and Niloy Cement (24,700) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.59 billion from Tk 53.87 billion on Thursday.
