Dhaka--(UNB) – The price index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a fall yesterday (Saturday) as turnover in terms of both volume and value decreased.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed 4.21 points or 0.65 per cent to close at 639.99 points from Thursday’s 644.20 points.

Of the 151 listed securities traded yesterday, 101 declined, 35 advanced and 15 remained unchanged.

Some 2,250,397 shares and debentures valued at TK 12.68 crore were transacted yesterday against 2,504,448 share worth TK 16.39 crore.

AIMS First Mutual Fund (805,000), Beximco Pharma (137,750) and Miracle Industry (132,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.74 billion from Tk 61.14 billion on Thursday.
