Chittagong-- (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange nosedived again yesterday as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index dropped by 4.56 points or o.31 percent to close at 1426.90 points from Tuesday’s 1431.46 points.

Of the 62 listed securities traded yesterday, 20 gained, 31 declined and 11 remained unchanged.

Some 564,905 shares and debentures valued at Tk 5.27 crore changed hands as against 540,355 shares worth Tk 5.17 crore on the previous trading day.

Sino Bangla Industries (74,000), AIMS First Mutual Fund (60,000), Niloy Cement (52,900), Paragon Leather (42,150) and National Bank (41,460) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.98 billion from Tk 54.14 on Tuesday.
