Dhaka, Nov 10 (UNB) - Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) has congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for signing a manpower export agreement with Kuwait.

In a statement today, BAIRA president Mohammad Noor Ali said the four-year agreement would pave the way for restarting export of manpower to the oil-rich Gulf State.

Suspension of recruitment from Bangladesh has so far frustrated many youths hankering for jobs in Kuwait and also caused business losses to many recruiting agencies.

The BAIRA management had long been pursuing the government to settle the problem, the BAIRA president said.

He expressed his deep gratitude to the Prime Minister and her entourage to Kuwait to take pragmatic step for reopening the way for Bangladesh's job seekers in the prospective job market of Kuwait.
