Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower today (Wednesday) as the losers strongly dominated the gainers.

The DSE all Share Price Index shed 9.40 points or 1.26 percent to close at 655.67 points from Tuesday’s 664.07 points.

Of the 162 listed securities traded today, 133 declined, 16 advanced and 13 remained unchanged.

Some 2,700,792 shares and debentures valued at Tk 22.77 crore were transacted as against 5,908,743 shares worth Tk 33.03 crore on the previous day.

Sino Bangla (414,500), AIMS First Mutual Fund (250,000), Beximco Pharma (222,450), Bionic Food (135,000) and Excel Shoe (120900) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 62.23 billion as against Tk 63.03 billion on Tuesday.
