Dhaka (UNB)- Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria was unanimously elected Vice Chairman of the Procedure Committee of Islamic Development Bank on Tuesday.

He was elected at the 25th annual meeting of the Board of Governor of the bank at UNESCO Conference Centre in the Lebanese capital Beirut, according to a message received here today.

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafique Hariri inaugurated the two-day meeting on Tuesday.

The Finance Minister who is leading a Bangladesh delegation was chosen to deliver address on behalf of the Asian Group in the annual meeting of IDB. He also met with Lebanese Prime Minister Rafique Hariri.
