Chittagong (UNB) – Although the losers dominated the gainers, the Price Index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a rise today.

The CSE All Share Price Index upgraded by 0.28 points or 0.02 percent to close at 1422.55 points from Saturday’s 1422.27 points.

Of the 64 listed securities traded today, 24 gained, 33 declined and seven remained unchanged.

Some 761,970 shares and debentures valued at Tk 5.96 crore changed hands today as against 958,400 shares worth at Tk 5.10 crore on the previous day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.84 billion from Saturday’s Tk 53.81 billion.
