Dhaka (UNB) - Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has arranged import of 76,500 mts of sugar on the occasion of ensuing holy Sheb-e-Barat and Ramzan, an official handout said today.

It said two ships carrying 27,500 mts of sugar has already arrived at Chittagong port. Two more ships with 24,000 mts of sugar are expected to arrive on Nov 10 and another two ships with 25,000 mts on Nov 25.

TCB has taken measures for marketing the imported sugar through its own dealers and dealers of Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation.
