Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Saturday) with gainers outnumbering the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 5.12 points or 0.81 percent to close at 630.45 points from Thursday’s 625.33 points.

Of the 140 listed securities traded yesterday, 83 gained, 31 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

Some 2,533,164 shares and debentures valued at Tk 15.11 crore changed hands as against 3,755,051 shares worth Tk 16.46 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (691,000), AIMS First Mutual Fund (635,000), ACI (232,850) and Shine Pukur (169,600) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.83 billion from Thursday’s Tk 59.35 billion.
