Proposing some amendments to Financial Institutions (Amendment) Bill 2000 and Bank Company (Amendment) Bill 2000, the parliamentary watchdog requested the ministry to make a final statement before the next session of Jatiya Sangsad.

Presided over by Committee Chairman Prof Ali Ashraf, the meeting was attended by its members Chitra Bhattacharya, Syed Masud Reza, Karim Uddin Bharsa, Saifur Rahman, MK Anwar and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
