Dhaka-- (UNB) – The price index at Dhaka Stock Exchange posted 3.39 points rise yesterday (Saturday) although the number of volume and its values decreased.

All Share Price Index in the country’s main bourse gained 0.52 percent or 3.39 points to close at 649.74 points from Thursday’s 646.35 points.

Of the 126 listed securities traded yesterday, 59 gained, 48 declined and 19 remained unchanged.

Some 1,082,070 shares and debentures worth Tk 9.05 crore changed hands as against 2,358,526 shares valued at Tk 16.99 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (181,750), All Textile (143,950), Aims First Mutual Fund (85,000) and Sino Bangla (76,500) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.66 billion from Tk 61.34 billion on Thursday.
