Dhaka-- (UNB) - Even though the gainers outnumbered the losers, trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Tuesday).

All Share Price Index in the country's main bourse shed 1.22 points or 0.18 percent to close at 646.05 points from 647.27 points on Monday.

Of the 167 listed securities traded yesterday, 77 gained, 70 declined and 20 remained unchanged.

Some 3,069,964 shares and debentures worth Tk 16.75 crore changed hands as against 2,857,033 shares valued at Tk 20.24 crore on the previous trading day.

Ashraf Textiles (441,300), AIMS First Mutual Fund (417,500), Beximco Pharma (366,650) and Bionic Food (120,500) were among the day's volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.32 billion as against Tk 61.43 billion on Monday.
