Dhaka-- (UNB) – Even though the gainers dominated the losers, week’s trading began at Dhaka Stock Exchange posting 1.10 points fall its benchmark yesterday (Saturday).

All Share Price Index in the country’s main bourse shed 1.10 points or 0.16 percent to close at 646.75 points from 647.85 points on Thursday

Of the 165 listed securities traded yesterday, 81 gained, 65 declined and 19 remained unchanged.

Some 3,476,005 shares and debentures valued at Tk 23.90 crore changed hands as against 3,031,220 shares worth Tk 24.05 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (553,500), Sino Bangla (345,000), AIMS First Mutual Fund (340,000) and Miracle Industry (188,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.38 billion from Tk 61.48 billion on Thursday.
