Dhaka-- (UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange posted a further gain of 3.34 points yesterday (Thursday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 0.52 per cent or 3.34 points to close at 636.49 points from Wednesday’s 633.15 points.

Of the 157 listed securities traded yesterday, 74 gained, 63 declined and 20 remained unchanged.

Some 2,161,160 shares and debentures valued at Tk 15.45 crore changed hands as against 2,423,733 shares worth Tk 15.78 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS first Mutual Fund (607,500), Beximco Pharma (324,850) Niloy Cement (97,450) and Bionic Food (92,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.41 billion from Tk 60.09 billion from on Wednesday.
