Chittagong, -- (UNB) – Despite the gainers outnumbered the losers, the main index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight fall yesterday (Monday).

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 2.04 points or 0.14 percent to close at 1366.87 points from Saturday’s 1368.92 points.

Of the 54 listed securities traded yesterday, 28 gained, 20 declined and six remained unchanged.

Some 1,174,733 shares and debentures worth Tk 6.01 crore were transacted yesterday as against 984,315 shares valued at Tk 6.80 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 51.83 billion from Saturday’s Tk 51.91 billion.
