Dhaka, -- (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Monday) with the gainers marginally outnumbering the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 1.51 points or 0.23 percent to close at 631.96 points from Saturday’s 630.45 points.

Of the 140 listed securities traded yesterday, 62 gained, 60 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

Some 2,398,898 shares and debentures valued at Tk 14.78 crore changed hands as against 2,533,164 shares worth about Tk 15.11 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (733,200), ACI (186,500), AIMS First Mutual Fund (160,000), and Fuwang Food (156,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.98 billion from Saturday’s Tk 59.83 billion.
